Cold Stone Creamery - Fort Mill

The ice cream was delicious, but the staff seemed a bit immature. They were more focused on having fun than attending to the customers. I ended up getting my ice cream to go.

I love cold stone ice cream but I hate been cheated. I was on the phone with my husband when he placed my order. He twice told the person he wanted vanilla and strawberry with coconut on the side. Aside from the guy getting the order wrong, he clearly cheated me with not filling the cup.

We ordered four "Love It" sized desserts: one Founder's Favorite with sweet cream, one Apple Pie à la Stone with cheesecake, another with sweet cream, and a Strawberry Blonde. All the flavors were fantastic, but the Apple Pie with cheesecake ice cream was absolutely heavenly! There was only one employee on duty at the time, and a crowd came in just after us. She remained composed and friendly despite the rush. We were pleased to see additional help arrive as we were leaving. They have a "Now Hiring" sign posted, and I hope they find some excellent new staff because we will definitely be coming back to this location.

While I know first hand how harmful bad reviews can be so I'm still giving a 5 star. But the young man working tonight needs to be worked with on his customer service skills. My wife and girl's received OUTSTANDING customer service from the girls and while they were working on making their orders this young man rushes back in from what looked like a break to take my order. From the minute he asked what I wanted he seemed to be discussed about being at work. Not only did he make my order wrong he made it in the smaller size. So disappointing that 1 person can give such a bqd experience. Someone needs to do better!

Worst customer service ever.Employees refused for extra spoon and overall not cooperative. I would never go back to this location.
