Hickory Tavern - Fort Mill

Food was ok. Didn't have a lot on the plate for the shrimp and grits. I ordered the chicken tacos. Had to send it back twice because they were covered in tomatoes after saying no tomatoes. Our waitress was nice.

The menu has undergone significant changes. The spinach artichoke dip was much smaller and not as tasty as it used to be. While the meal was acceptable, the service was quite slow. It’s no longer one of my top choices.

The food was simply average in my opinion. I ordered the pow pow shrimp and sweet potato fries. The batter on the shrimp was falling off and felt soft, either because it had been sitting for too long or wasn’t fried properly. The portion of fries was quite small, more like a kid's size. However, my family enjoyed the fish and chips and the Philly sandwich.

Went there yesterday and the service was great. Our waitress was attentive and constantly checking in. The food on the other hand was terrible. I got sauced chicken tenders and my wife blackened tacos. The food came out cold. After waiting 15 minutes for hit fresh food, my fries came out hot but soaked in oil, the chicken tenders where not tenders more like chicken bites that were sauced and mush. My wife’s tacos had good flavor but the chicken was hard like chicken jerky. $75 with tip for an appetizer , 2 entrees and 2 sodas I know there is inflation but this meal was not worth $75! The food at this establishment has gone down the drain over the last few months.

Stepped in for a drink and appetizers. The bartender was friendly.
