It’s on the beach in the Lani Kai, a little fast food place that is owned and ran by a gentleman that is a true “Deadhead”, meaning he is a follower of the Grateful Dead! Sporting his tie dye concert shirts and playing Grateful Dead music in his kitchen. This guy makes the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever eaten! They are made with the perfect size patty, (I’m not a fan of burgers so big that you can’t bite into or greasy. Order a double if you are) dressed with your choice of cheese, big tomato slice or two, dill pickle chips, onion, mayonnaise and ketchup. No lettuce on his burgers. Every bite from start to finish is delicious! Service is great, owner say’s hello from behind the grill to his customers, knowing the regulars by name! Other’s say the Dogs are the best, but I say why fix it if it’s not broke! Try the cheddar burger to get a mouthful of creamy cheddar sauce! I’ve never been disappointed here! FYI, if your just going to get food fix, tell the parking guy and you don’t have to pay to park!
The chilli cheese hot dogs were amazing! We don't usually eat dogs but they were so good we ate there twice!
Sometimes the dog is your style, sometimes it is not. This one, encased in its skin, for me, was pretty messy, and I found it difficult to bite in, but I am aware many people like hot dogs with this...crunch. Just a matter of opinion. The French fries, poppy seed bun, grilled onions, cheese sauce and guys at the window were great.
This walkup stand has awesome fries! They have a selection of sandwiches. I had a cheeseburger that was so big I could barely bite into it. It was a little pink and need more time on the grill, but did taste great.
It was something different for lunch and it was pretty good if you like hotdogs. It was a little pricy for two dogs but it was at a resort so i guess you gotta expect that.
