Golden Corral Buffet Grill - Fort Myers

It's average tasting food, nicely stocked salad bar, steaks are full of gristle. Descent desert bar. If you need a place that is simple and quick it works.

Good: friendly service, fast beverage refills. some decent items on the buffet. bad: dirty teppiche, topf bratboden had zero meat in it, was mainly carrots and carrots in some au jus with fat. some hot beggar items were nowhere near hot, lukewarm best. no romaine salate on salatable for a caesar salate.

Golden corral is a good way for a diverse evening meal. they cannot complain about the service when they are the service. if they have no good time and a good food, that's what's going on. our server was intensive with drinks and tellers and cleaning. the variety in the food has provided something for everyone. the steak was cooked in a perfect medium.

Ate here with my husband and 2 boys. Everything was cold and stale. Every steak we got was way over cooked and fatty to the point of not even being able to cut through it or chew it. Also the ceiling was leaking in several places, including right near the food bar and where we happened to sit. Water was dripping on my husband’s head! Definitely left feeling hungry still. Wish I would have asked for a refund and went elsewhere.

A Saturday 7:00 pm visit. They were about 50 full I would estimate. Food items were the usual Golden Coral, and pretty stocked. The pizza looked like it was from the lunch rush, the day before. We had a wonderful and kind server in her mid 50s I would guess. Her name was Meg or something like that. For the problems: The girl doing drinks at the counter by the register had a bad attitude and needed to go home and rethink whether she wanted a job. Another server with dark hair was pacing back and forth in between going to tables whikle talking on her cell phone. She was not only loud but using a lot of foul language. I am 50+ and was offended, and there were children around as well. I reported it to our server and she said something to the other one. Boy did we get dirty looks. I don't care. Do your job and put the phone away, and especially don't use that kind of language while working around guests. And lastly, the men's restroom made me sick to my stomach. I actually felt like I was going to vomit the rest of the evening. The toilets were clogged and full, and there was urine all over the floor. Everyone was walking in it and then going back out into the restaurant with wet shoes. How disgusting. We would have left without eating and just lost our money if we had known what we were in for between the server's mouth and the unsanitary conditions.
