Eating was very good, but the service was very slow and very deorganized. reopened, so needs a big tweaking.

We were told at the vigilante that they did not accept any non-residents and that we had to go. they turned us around and I called the phone number of the restaurant and they called the watchtor to let us in. after boarding we were treated on a terrace and placed on our places as we used open table, we were not allowed in the main restaurant. Once our server came to our table, he asked about our account number and we had no so that it caused further problems. eating was moderate and service was good for my wife.

I'm not sure where the wires were crossed between Open Table and Heritage Palms. We were turned away at the gate by the guard because we are not members. We were told that the restaurant was not open to the public except for Sunday Brunch. Since it was Valentine's Day the likelyhood of getting in anywhere nice without reservations left me disturbed. I called the country club and spoke with the dining room hostess who confirmed my reservation. She said they were new to Open Table and obviously the communication was incorrect between the parties. I asked for the manager and after a brief discussion she agreed to advise the guard to let us in. We were treated to a high top table in the grill with a a casual menu since the dining room was in use for a members Valentine dinner dance. While the sandwiches were good and our waitress very nice is was hardly the Valentine dinner I had in mind for my bride of years when I made the reservation with Open Table.

It says that it is open to the public on its open table list. when we arrived, the gate visitor had no idea and did not try to find out and therefore did not let us in our own. the organization should either change the information on the website or let the tor know what is on.
