Roots - Fort Myers

Classy place to be, clean, one of my favorite lounges to visit, and always a great experience despite other negative reviews. FYI- Maybe experiment with different marketing tools. I had just found out about the upcoming event with Lil Xan and Borgeous for March 27th, a day before the event. This is one of the very many times I find out about huge international artists being featured at Roots one day before the event.

This place charged my card 569 dollars on 12/13 when they said it didn’t go through then charged my friend card and it went through so they took over 1000 dollars from us that night and my card was still charged when I went to speak to them they said I’d have the money back by Friday 12/18 it is now 12/20 I haven’t heard anything from them I have filed a claim with my bank and will update this review as my process of this goes weather it be a full refund or a lawsuit I will update the process

Great service. We like the vibe of the restaurant, but it is super noisy and would benefit from some noise mitigation. The food was just ok. Lobster bisque, which several in our party ordered, was very salty and not a morsel of lobster. Sushi was good. Ravioli had very little short rib in it. Martini sashimi was excellent.

All the window/doors were closed due to weather. All in party had trouble identifying a way to get in. No signs showing entrance. Grouper sandwich was touted by friend as best ever. I thought it was average and overpriced at $16+. Good waitress although difficult to find at times. I am going to say yes to recommend to a friend but there should be a maybe button.

Quickly becoming one of our go to favorites in the area especially at this time of year.
