Starbucks - Fort Myers

I always enjoy visiting this Starbucks location, especially for pickup. The staff is friendly, the baristas are excellent, and the food is fresh and delicious. What’s not to love?

My friend visited this store this morning to pick up some items for several of us. Not only did they prepare something entirely different from the hot salted caramel mocha she ordered for me, but they were also extremely rude to her. I know that even when Starbucks is out of the smoked caramel topping, they can still make a hot caramel mocha. Instead of the usual drink she ordered for me, I received a baffling and unappetizing cold foam cold brew that has nothing to do with a mocha. There’s simply no excuse for how poorly my friend was treated or for her order to be disregarded like this. I’ve never experienced Starbucks messing up a standard menu item in such a bizarre way without any prior consultation. My friend feels awful about what I ended up with, even though it’s not her fault; the blame lies with the rude baristas who created something completely unrelated to her actual order.

The restaurant was very clean, but they couldn’t get my order right. When I asked for it to be corrected, it seemed to be a big hassle. I'm quite frugal, so when I spend my money, it’s because I really enjoy the food. I absolutely love the oatmeal and the lemon cakes! The medicine balls are also great, and I really enjoy the combination of mango dragon fruit and pineapple refreshers.

The restaurant is spotless, and the staff was very friendly, attending to us right away when we arrived. I visit this place quite often, and each time has been a wonderful experience.

I wouldn't recommend ordering online if you're hoping to be prioritized. I waited 30 minutes and ended up being late to work, only to find out my coffee was never prepared. The drive-thru, however, was operating quickly. On a positive note, the lovely girl at the counter did issue a refund for me.
