The Krab Hut - Fort Myers

Great deal when you get a pound of shrimp with a $50 order...delicious! Messy but fun.

I discovered this hidden gem while traveling on August 10, 2023. Initially, I was hesitant after coming across a few negative reviews, but my apprehension quickly vanished. This place exceeded my expectations. The woman who seated and served us was incredibly friendly and attentive. I ordered the crab and crawfish with sausage and potatoes, choosing the zesty garlic sauce at a mild level. It was absolutely delicious! Just a heads up—when they say spicy, they really mean it, so be cautious if you opt for anything above medium heat. My friend ordered the medium heat snow crabs and shrimp and found it to be perfectly balanced. One piece of advice: they automatically add a 14% gratuity to every bill, so keep that in mind. If you leave an additional 20%, your total tip will actually be 34%.

We absolutely love everything we've tried at The Krab Hut! We first visited after noticing their ad for 10 large cocktail shrimp for just $9.00, and they were fantastic. On our next visit, we had the Lo Mein, and on our latest trip, we enjoyed the Hibachi. Everything has been amazing!

The food was seasoned to perfection, if a bit overcooked. My biggest problem was that even though I ordered crab, I received no leg crackers or a trash bucket. My husband and I got a snow crab leg and crayfish boil with added andouille sausage. The potatoes and corn were the highlight if Im being honest. My husband was upset he could only eat half the crayfish because they were not cleaned properly. Overall, our experience was about a 6.7/10

Service was good and so was food but when we went to pay had to wait for cashier which was fine until the manager (short guy) I’m guess ask the cashier are we paying. Well if I’m standing at register and waiting on someone to charge me then yes I’m paying! You think I’m going to run out the door with a take out box and toddler! You can’t fix stupidity!
