Feedback gevenAtmosphere, incredible. Food presentation and taste was perfect. Waiting staff was very professional and yet fun. Escargot, crabcakes and filled mushrooms for appetizers were all good. Seared Jumbo Scallops and the Southern Sampler were great. Do not forget the key lime cake and homemade ice cream!!! I forgot that they make fantastic signature martinis!
The veranda is a quintessential southern dining experience. The ambience of the spacious outdoor terrace really has set the mood for my birthday dinner. Delicious crab cakes and perfectly cooked seafood, I highly recommend. Not to mention Peaches the sweetest waiting staff Kitty!
Our server was excellent..Winston. He was not only informative, but very polite and punctual! Food was amazing!! Absolutely a first-class institution! Can't wait to come back!
I've heard about this fine restaurant for a few years, and I've been looking forward to her Chateaubriand, the finished table side. It was beautifully prepared by our server and was absolutely delicious. It came with roasted vegetables and potatoes. Muffins and cornbread were served before the meal. I had the blue crabcake appetizer that was good and would order it again (full disclosure... I grew up in Maryland and love Maryland crabcakes. I know we're not in Maryland, so when I order crab cake, I don't expect them to be what I grew up, but Cant helps to compare them anyway). Other members of our party had the Portobello pelt, shrimp cocktail and Pan horseradish. All our meals came with a salad. Other entrees ordered were the southern sampler, pan seared scallops, Huhn Orleans, a vegetarian meal. Desserts were cream brulee, flourless chocolate cake, cheesecake and pecan pie a la mode. The desserts were also very good. The reason for the four of five stars was because of the vegetarian dinner we ordered. We understand that is not their normal offer (as shown by the menu), but we called a week ago. The person who took the call said they would let the cook know in time and let our server know to remind them. The fancy meal was roasted with zucchini, paprika (red, yellow, green), spread beans, mushrooms and carrots. The roasted vegetables were tasteful and we appreciate the food intake. Only one starch was missing, whether it was a pasta or the potatoes they served with their other menus. A desert proposal that I would recommend is banana promotion. We didn't know until the table next to us ordered him. It was also made table side. Overall, the service and the food was delicious and would highly recommend. Although there is a parking lot nearby, there is a parking service at the door. Bon appetit!
We just had dinner here to celebrate my dad's birthday, and everything was amazing, from the ambience of the restaurant to the quality of food, and our waiter was so attentive to everything we needed. My first visit was amazing, my parents have been coming since the restaurant opened. Worth every penny, looking forward to coming back again
