Waffle King - Fort Payne

Great service. Good food and good service. You never go out of coffee or tea. You get almost on your nerves to do the refills, and the food is good.

Can't tell you how the food was like bc they were closed 3:30 when we went from the Marathon gas station where we parked our truck for the day. Did not want to give a negative review bc the food could be great. Even with everything that is going on in our country today, they may not afford to open it when the business is slow. I wish them well. But we should be aware that they may not be opened during normal business hours and they have not announced that they have been closed online where we could be aware. Call first Update: Breakfast here the next morning... the Belgian waffle with strawberries and crepe was amazing! The double order of “all the way” Hash Browns was perfectly tanned and crispy with all the wonderful aromas. There was a very tiny amount of ham and salt, but the salt was fixable. Probably better to have less salt than too much anyway. This is the first time in a long time that we end the entire breakfast. Kudos to Waffle King. Our first time here

When staying at our camper we decided we wanted a late breakfast. We don't have food to cook for breakfast, decided to go to Waffle King to go. Our choice was on site, breakfast was great!! We enjoyed scrambled eggs, bacon, loaded potatoes and a strawberry waffle! The staff worked hard to take care of all hungry customers, but never failed to be polite, and accommodating. I think we in Fort Payne have one of the best Waffle Kings, along with the best Cooks! If you're hungry, you can't eat wrong here!

Just stopped in for breakfast and I’m so glad we chose this place! We walked right in and got a table. First, I have to mention the coffee, it was really good and my cup was filled before ever asking. Linda and Evelyn were our servers and they were very attentive and the sweetest ladies you’ll ever meet. The cook, Josh, got our order out quickly and everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! We will definitely be visiting again and I highly recommend Royal Waffle King.
