Mistakenly went for supper on a Sunday night, as this was one of the few restaurants open in Ft. Qu'Appelle. The offering was a buffet or order off the menu. The place was packed; the restaurant short staffed, so ordering off the menu was impossible; the buffet so swarmed by patrons, it was continuously empty the cook could not keep up as soon as more food was brought out there was a stampede; moving anywhere in room challenging; the place smelled so badly of frying grease, I had to shower and change clothes when I got home; and all this for $14.95 for the dinner buffet, which you had to fight for. Horrible experience.
I had been to the lunch buffet two years ago and it was amazing so when my wife was able to come on a trip I was eager to take her there. The quality was not what what it was and I was disappointed. I wouldn't recommend the lunch buffet to anyone.
After a hard weekend of playing, and no one wanting to cook, Ming's comes to the rescue. So a quick phone call to order takeout, and dinner was ready. And by the time dinner was over there was but a handful of rice, a dozen contented souls, and all contemplating their fortune cookie predictions. This was a great end to a fun weekend. We will be back!
Not much to choose from on the buffet...we have gone here numerous times and the selection is always the same. Food is tasty however!
