Feedback gevenI wish I could have sampled all three beers in one visit, but it seems they are always out of stock on at least one. The setting tries to create an English pub vibe with soccer and dart games on TV, but being in a Hockey Mecca, nobody really pays attention to it. The location next to a half-developed lot of a torn-down mall is not ideal. The food options are limited to a hot dog cart and German-style soft pretzels, with a couple of other choices that I can't recall. Don't expect wings or sandwiches here. Despite these shortcomings, I could overlook them if the beer was good, but sadly they were out of stock during my visit. The biggest issue for me was the poor service. In a small pub with only eight people, it shouldn't take over 15 minutes to get a drink order. It felt like they were more focused on selling commercially rather than running a proper pub. A pub should never run out of their own flagship products. Overall, I would rank this establishment a one out of five. I hope they take this feedback and prioritize customer service. I may give them another chance in the future, but for now, I would likely choose to go to a different establishment that serves their beer, such as the Bears Den or Canadian Brew House.
We visited this pub/bar on a recent trip to Fort Sask. The waitress/barman was very helpful in helping us chose our quaff. You wont find any of the Molsen/ Labatts beers on sale here, but there was about eight craft beers at about $8 a 20oz pint each.l mentioned the 20oz because so many of the new bars opening up only sell those 14oz pints but still charge you for a 20oz, good to see the Two Sergeants selling a mans drink size. The ambience of the place is strange as you are surrounded by all the stainless steel vats and pipes that you associate with a brewery or a dairy set up. If there was one thing we did'nt like about the place it was the seating, it is made up of several park like picnic tables which seat about eight people each. Not so bad when we visited because the place was relatively quite and we had a table to ourselves. If you want a private or romantic conversation with some one it would not be possible if the place was full.
I do not understand this place. Sitting at a picnic table in bare warehouse staring a couple of stainless steel vessels is not my idea of an inviting atmosphere. I was curious about Two Sergeants and wanted to sample their beer but they we sold out of several of their brews when we visited. They do not have a kitchen but sell snacks. We will not be back.
Stopped in here a few times and have tried a few of the beers. Great start up, the guys have a winning formula here! Can't wait to see their growlers, should be a great design. A great addition to the craft brewing industry in Alberta and a great stop in Fort Sask.
I have been here several times with my husband and my parents. I love the atmosphere, the staff is great. Love the face we can try local craft beer. Great snacks available. Perfect for that night out with friends. Love the taster pallet.
