Honu Sushi - Fort Shafter

We were hungry and in a rush and we just pau with savers and it's right next door. No one inside you order at the front and then sit down. Pretty fast! Lady seems nice. After we order it was pretty fast they give your food through the front you order so it's self service there basically. The noodles was good! The egg inside I never like because it was a little rough. My bf loved his noodles too. The volcano roll was very good! We got two servings! Spicy ahi was okay. They load it with sauce my bf said it wasn't that good to him because he also makes poke and he likes his a certain way. He said it was sweet and spicy...he didn't taste wasabi in it I'm either. But overall it was a little nice place you can sit at a table or stool. Nice local music plays! Server nice. Just don't expect them to serve you. Food was pretty good. Would come back and just get the rolls and noodle with no egg. Pretty cheap too.

Small place but they have counter tops and tables. We walked up looked and ordered in a manner of seconds. We got bubble drinks and more. All came out yummy and tasted very fresh. I'd definitely go again and even get take-out. Some friendly ladies working there and they are very efficient

I wasn't that impressed. I was just hungry at that time I was in the area. Only good if it's convenient and craving for Japanese food.

This was my first time grabbing food from here. I've been working in this area for years, and only now I've tried their hand rolls. I tried out the tiger hand roll, and oh my gah it was really good! The crab ratio to like the rice stuff was good! It was just right and the right amount of spicy tuna. I will most likely buy this again!

Very good sushi delicious every time. Always take out for me. Inexpensive clean friendly.
