Ordered delivery so I already expected not the best but after waiting over an hour passed the latest delivery time, food arrives in boxes that look like they were sat on. Burrito looks disgusting and did not come with rice and beans as ordered (not even on the inside). Enchiladas are dry and hard. Meat is over cooked, chewy, or burnt. 100% do not recommend!
Soooo! I moved to Oahu from Arizona so my Mexican food palate is hard to please, that being said this is the first Mexican place I have had out here that I will DEFINITELY be going back to! The service was pleasant and efficient and the food was delicious. Excellent Mexican flavor and spice. I got the elote of course and catch of the day fish tacos! Also tried their chips and salsa- this is worth a stop at least once! Not a sit in sort of place although they have a couple tables, definitely a tailgating or beach picnic to enjoy!
Ordered food from there today. I wasn't impressed. The fries were barley cooked kinda tasted old. The meat was extremely dry. The price doesn't match the food.
Not worth it. Got the veggie burrito. It only comes with rice, beans, lettuce, and pico de gallo. Absolutely insane they don't even add sautéed/grilled veggies or some other type of meat substitutes to be charging the same price as their other burritos. It's infuriating they charge you for simple things to add like cilantro, tomatoes, and lettuce. They also charge for things like cheese and guacamole. What kind of burrito wouldn't come with this already inside? It's crazy to me that you have to pay for veggies that should be inna veggie burrito in the first place. Guac is usually free in the place of meat, but they tryna squeeze every last cent out of your wallet here. There was no choice in the type of beans or rice either. Much better places elsewhere with better quality food and better prices. Won't be coming back. See for yourself.
Not a fan. Talk about CRAZY pricing for what you get?! We came to try them out for lunch. One positive if they offer 15% discount for military which is nice. Since I 'm a veteran, I got to take advantage of that and thank goodness because I ordered the al pastor torta which is normally $11. I thought a little steep for a torta but hopefully it 's big and delicious. Unfortunately I cannot say it was either. First off, can someone tell me why I only got HALF a torta??? I was in disbelief when I opened the container. Definitely not what I 'm accustomed to having lived 6 years in Vegas. It came out hot, so that was a plus but I couldn 't hold it because it was TOO hot and then the bottom bread was soft so when I did finally get to pick it up, everything was falling out and it was just a mess. Ended up having to eat my sandwich with a fork. On top of it, flavors were sub par. Not a pleasant eating experience. My buddy got a grande burrito which in the end was not so grande. His was $14 to boot and he said there were no veggies in it? Did he have to ask for veggies or pico? He also said it was lacking flavor. Idk but I will say that he informed me that he had previously ordered a plate meal and it was nothing like what we got for lunch. He said it was a large plate that was stacked with food and was delicious, hence why he suggested we come here for lunch. Unfortunate though b/c the lunch servings for what we ordered were pathetic and a let down. Would I try here again? I 'm going to pass and go to Kalihi if Taqueria la Marea is open.
