After moving away from Fort Smith, I find myself craving Ralph's Pink Flamingo frequently. The food is absolutely excellent and the service is incredibly welcoming. I usually order between the rib, pulled pork, or brisket dinners. They have always been consistently great. The sides of choice, and what might be the main inspiration to continuously return to this fine establishment, are the Mac-n-cheese and the apple cobbler. They are something else and always hit the spot. I highly recommend Ralph's for any out-of-towners or for anyone looking for some delicious barbecue.
I'm pretty serious about barbecue and this place is solid not stellar, but solid. Their sauce is very good. The pulled pork is good. The sausage is among the best I've had. The ribs are well above average. In short, so far, this is my favorite barbecue in Fort Smith.
You turn into the strip mall and think 'you have to be kidding '. Inside it is large and filled with memorabilia from their awards and commendations.<br/ <br/ Food is good and they have huge portions. Beware of combos which have even more food.<br/ <br/ Ribs were good as was the chopped chicken. Had beans and corn. It was far too much to eat. I 'm told the deserts are great too, but alas no room.
Great BBQ! Don't be fooled by the fact the place is in a strip center. Make sure to get the chocolate pecan pie. The sauce has such good flavor. <br/ <br/
