Plus we waited for over 30 mins for the food just for them to tell us they do their to go orders above in house orders.
Used to be good 2 years ago, but now it's overpriced and either undercooked or sat on a counter for probably like an hour. I'd try them again if the buffet reopened, but for the time being the hint of freezer burned cold edamame beans that cost $6 still lingers in my mouth and wallet. Even the sushi which is extremely hard to mess up was hard as a rock and had obviously been packed too hard before being put in the fridge for 2 days.
They don't give you noodles, they don't give you anything for your money. Got a very small piece of steak and chicken to share with my wife, the so called Dinner for 2. Most shoguns give you the noodles but this place charges separate. Not even cooked very well. The only part that was good was the cook on the hibachi grill. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who is use to a real Shogun. ? Take shogun off the front of this place. It's a fraud!!!
We went for lunch. We all had the Habachi style dining. Food was pretty good. The chef who cooked for us did a good job. Our server was a bit rude but I didn?t over think it. My bill was under $50. My credit card showed they charged me $90 for the entire dining experience. Well I can promise I didn?t tip $40. So overall I wouldn?t recommend visiting these scammers. I am currently disputing charges with the cc company.
For a place that used to be a Buffett the service seems to have slowed down quite a bit. The testy was far from full and it took several minutes to get waited on just for a drink. The order was actually pretty good and was hot and fresh.
