GONE DOWNHILL!! I have been coming to Safford to visit my extended family for years. I was excited when this little diner opened in Ft Thomas a few years ago. It was always fun to stop here for their delicious fried pickles and onion strings. They also use to have really great service, good food and friendly small town faces. The last few times I stopped in with my family the food has really gone downhill. My burger wasn't cooked all the way, thin and tasteless. The whole environment has changed, no longer welcoming. There's a blonde that works the counter that is so unfriendly and acts annoyed when you ask a question. Sorry but I wont be back
Love the food. Homemade cooking at it's best and so
Wow this place does not disappoint! If you drive too fast you will roll right by but that would be a mistake! Lots of to-go items and fresh made food to grab on the go or to stay and enjoy. The menus has something to delight everyone palette! Ft Thomas is bringing it!
After driving east from Prescott Valley, and having to unfortunately follow a detour south to Winkleman and back north to Globe, we finally reached Fort Thomas for at late lunch at Meg's Place. We both ordered Indian tacos (fry bread filled with beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and meat). They were very good. We took 2 homemade oatmeal cookies with us for dessert. They were also good. Service was excellent. There was an antique Model F car inside and a wall of pictures from Fort Thomas' past. Interesting.
