Dough Boy Donuts - Fort Worth

I came across a post on Instagram about this donut shop and knew I had to check it out. It’s definitely worth the drive! They open at 6 am and close at 12 pm, so I made sure to arrive early to enjoy all that they have to offer. The decor is adorable, featuring whisks as light fixtures and even a deer head adorned with donuts on its antlers. I decided to sit in and enjoy my meal since I ordered a breakfast sandwich made with a glazed donut and a cappuccino. That sandwich is incredible! The combination of sweet and savory flavors is so clever and tasty. My cappuccino was pretty fantastic as well. I couldn’t resist leaving with a "Dough Boy Dozen" to try as many donut flavors as possible. The staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. I can’t wait to visit again soon!

Overall, I found the food to be good, although it felt a bit excessive and messy at times. The Dough Boy sandwich was bursting with flavor. The plain donut, which had a vanilla glaze, exceeded my expectations, though it was quite sweet compared to others I’ve had. The cheesecake didn't quite match my expectations, possibly because I tried the vanilla flavor first. Nevertheless, I'm likely to return and would recommend it to others.

I've been eager to try this place since they opened, and my best friend surprised me with a special delivery! My favorite was definitely the Oreo, but all of them were delicious. I'm not sure what that third one in the picture was, but it was tasty as well! When she went to pick them up, she mentioned that the customer service was excellent. I will definitely be getting more soon, as there are so many other flavors I'm excited to try! And as a bonus for me, it's black-owned! Love to see it!

Worth the wait and the drive. We were visiting family in Duncanville. We 'd heard about this place and had been looking forward to visiting for about 2 years, and we were not disappointed. When we arrived someone (I think one of the owners or managers) took the time to describe their process; how they make the donuts without premix and top them when you order. She also described the donuts as a brioche texture, which we found accurate. She described the fresh squeezed orange juice and went over most of the menu with us. We ordered an orange juice, pumpkin latte, and caramel latte. All were good, but the fresh squeezed OJ really can 't be beat. Although we only ordered one, another manager gave us 2 more as a thank you for visiting from Atlanta, which was very much appreciated

I wanted to get the donut sandwich, but it was all pork. Maybe next time I 'll try the egg cheese option. Let 's get into this review though... • • Customer Service Cleanliness ALL YEAST DONUTS! •Candy Cane Vanilla butter glaze with candy cane pieces. The one beside it was plain vanilla that she accidentally put in there, but removed it leaving some of the glaze behind . It 's good too! •Pistachio Donut Lime zest glaze with pistachio pieces. Enjoyed this more than I thought! Yummers!! •Butter Pecan *my fav* Brown butter glaze with cinnamon frosted pecans. •Egg Nog Egg Nog glaze with spice.
