La Playa Maya-north Side - Fort Worth

The rice was dry, but the beans and shrimp were good. The steak was cut incorrectly and we were rushed out. I was disappointed that there was no Latin music playing, and the aguas frescas were made from powder, which I did not enjoy. Given the high prices, I expected better quality. We were asked for our bill 30 minutes into our meal and halfway through. In the end, they just gave it to us and we felt rushed as a group of 7. Uncle Julio's or Blue Mesa offer much better service and quality, so I would recommend going there instead.

The service was slow at this restaurant, but the beef fajitas were definitely the highlight of the meal. The green salsa, called Salsa Maria or something like it, that you can request was outstanding and really added to the overall taste. The margarita was also outstanding and did the job in terms of enjoying my meal.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Our waitress, Sofia, was amazing and very attentive. I highly recommend this place, and a special shoutout to the head chef who really takes everything to the next level.

Great spot for lunch. The menu has a good variety. The food is consistently awesome. My go-to are the Fish Tacos. Fast and friendly service.

Beautiful building! You can tell it’s been there a long time, but it’s been well taken care of.
