Feedback gevenI went to Luby's for Thanksgiving, and even though we waited over an hour to get to the service line and choose our meals, the experience was wonderful! I'm truly grateful that the staff dedicated their time to serve us on Thanksgiving Day!
Instead of accommodating my request for extra sauce, they returned my $28.65, plus an additional $2.70 for the extra tartar sauce. The two sides of broccoli and cheese cost $4, making it seem more reasonable to allow me to purchase the additional sauce for $2.50. The chicken and fish I returned were quickly added back to the line for other customers. It’s truly disappointing to go through all of this over tartar sauce. I almost forgot to mention that the other manager, a Black man, didn't look up from his paperwork during the entire incident. I wish I could give them a zero rating, but that's not an option. Nonetheless, this experience definitely deserves a zero!
Over the past year, I've noticed a significant improvement in the quality of the food. However, it doesn't really make a difference to me.
That was the worst experience. I was excited to come to a Lubys like I haven't been a kid since I was. I was quickly shown why they went out of business. Badly trained personnel. From many options on the line you had to wait for. Our waiter would bring our pages to our table. They never did. The cashier didn't know how it worked properly. It was horrible everywhere.
Omg! I haven't had Luby's in years. The food was great, just like I remember. The waitresses were rushing but it was lunch time. Our cashier was the sweetest tho. Hope they stay open forever!
