Taco Cabana - Fort Worth

The street tacos were quite good, with a nice kick to them. They were on the smaller side, but tasty nonetheless. However, the rice was a bit dry, and the black beans were surprisingly runny. The standout for me was definitely the street tacos and the Arnold Palmer that I mixed myself. Unfortunately, the place was empty, which is a bit of a red flag. Overall, it was okay, but I think I'll give them some time to improve. They seemed to be struggling a bit. And just a reminder, being in a pandemic doesn't excuse poor food quality—just saying.

However, I have an update from 2022: I was let down on my recent visit. It might have been due to the fact that it was near closing time, but I won’t be returning to buy food here again. The nachos were loaded with overcooked meat and the chips were stale. The sopapillas were also past their prime. I ended up having to throw away most of my order. I would recommend avoiding this place.

I ordered the large fajita platter for pickup last night. The food was fine, and it was ready in a timely manner. It was sealed in a box, so I took it home. However, when I got home, I noticed that the spices were missing. The order contained only meat, tortillas, and some salsa roja—there was no salad, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, or cheese. The spice packet was included, but it didn't contain rice and beans, which are essential to a proper fajita meal. If the order is sealed, it should be exactly as requested. This was quite an expensive dinner for me, and I feel cheated out of the flavors that truly make the fajita experience enjoyable.

Delicious fajitas for two...guy was happy to me extra cup of tomatoes and extra tortillas for my left overs for later...

Taco Cabana is a nice place to grab a quick meal. We got a Chicken Fajita Quesadilla (Large) that looked like a pizza ? and came in a nice box (the size of a personal pan pizza). Easy grab-n-go via the drive-thro. Not crowded.
