The Point On Lake Worth - Fort Worth

The view is fantastic and there was a live band that played really well, but it was way too loud for such a small space. The food was just alright; I wouldn’t recommend the tostados—they were bland and dry. However, the fried catfish was delicious and definitely the best option on the menu! 1

I would rate this restaurant five stars if the service improved. We frequently have difficulty getting quality service, even though we've had a couple of excellent servers during our visits. Aside from that, the location is fantastic, making it a great spot for food and drinks after a day on the lake. They also have several boat slips for convenient access. Their Friday catfish is some of the best we've had, and the filets are enormous!

The food here was subpar at best, yet priced as if it were fine dining. I paid $17 for chicken tenders that felt like eating a brick. I've had reheated McDonald's that was far more enjoyable. We ended up spending $100 for a couple of beers and a meal for two at what should be a casual lakeside spot. I don't usually write reviews, but I was shocked at how they managed to ruin what should be simple dive bar or lake food. I can only imagine that it's just a matter of time before someone else takes over this place when it inevitably fails. Tick tock. On the bright side, the view was great, and our waiter was friendly and attentive—hats off to her!

The Point is kid and dog-friendly. It's shady enough to eat outside and enjoy the atmosphere off the lake. The food was delicious and the atmosphere laid back. We happened to be there on karaoke night, which was awesome. We ate outside so thekids could run around on the lawn and it was heaven!

View was nice. Server Alexis H. was very kind and attentive. We had a BLT bacon was burned and Patty Melt pretty dry. It was right after they opened so may not have gotten into the groove yet.
