Elixir Rooftop Bar - Fortitude Valley

Wow what a place! Fantastic service although busy. Delightful place to be, surrounded by greenery, you feel like you are in Narnia! Lovely menu and $10- cocktails? Which are delicious, great tunes too.

I had drinks at the Elixir Rooftop Bar on Saturday night for a friends birthday, as we were a large group we reserved a table. Drinks are reasonably priced and all the bar staff very very friendly. It can get quite cramped in the area though, especially near the bar and being summer it got quite warm too. Elixir Is just above X&Y and ca be a little tricky to find, but it is worth the walk up the stairs.

I have visited this restaurant a few times and each time I had a very enjoyable experience. The bartenders are knowledgeable and can make you a custom cocktail at a fair price even if it's not listed on the menu. It's a great spot.

This is a fantastic spot to relax with a drink. The music is always great, but keep in mind that the place can get crowded since it's small. If you're able to snag a booth, you'll love the cozy atmosphere and perfect lighting. The bar can get busy, so be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes for a cocktail on a Saturday night. The wait for cocktails may be long, but the end product is definitely worth it. I highly recommend trying their apple-tinis - they strike the perfect balance between sweet and sour.

I decided to try out Elixir based on recommendations of their Thursday ribs special for just $20. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and shown to a rooftop bar with communal high tables and comfortable couches. The food arrived promptly and was served in a generous portion. The beef rib was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the accompanying salad provided a refreshing balance to the rich meat. I highly recommend Elixir for those who enjoy pairing a robust red wine with delicious ribs at a reasonable price.
