Umami Bar & Restaurant

We stumbled over this place after a few drinks and was very happy to have found it. the place is quite dark, what the eating does not do any justity, but my flash took car from it. the service was great and our favorite was the Umami bite, very tasty. the croquettes are also a must. comes back....sober next time.

Had dinner with dimmi promo of 50% from food bill before three weeks. the hotel is located at the previous place of the hunan restaurant under the golden palace restaurant. it was not hard to find this modern set-up modern Asian restaurant. the first step went in, then they could find the cook in a fast pace through the window of the half-opened kitchen. service was professional and friendly. bao bao, grilled otopus, di rice paper roll, wagyu steak and the signature dessert the astro bomb . the bao bao came with two textures of softshell baskets and pulled boar so that we could enjoy seafood and pork at the same time. grilled otopus deserved thumb-up with delicate texture and delicious taste. I especially like the way they presented the beef and veal rice paper roll. I had similar dish in Vietnamese restaurant many paints, but the size and quality of the rice paper they served were the best. the very hot water and the beside dishes, which accompanied with the dish, they were well tuned. wagyu steak made in perfect Med-Rare. Of course, the hero was the night dessert, they played the tricks with liquid nitrogen and presented a very beautiful and interesting dessert to have the beautiful full stop for the night. this restaurant really deserves the name umami (it means delicious in Japanese).

I checked this place for an impromptu dinner. though calm when we arrived, the place took up and it was really pleasant to sit and take on the street, funky 80s music and decor. the food was delicious and the bold waiter was wonderful. I'm back to the final!

Absolutely loved her umami bites, bao bao and the fried huhn! so big arome! but will definitely be back for their pork belly umami with this one great customer service and overall, a wonderful culinary experience!

Dim light, a modern yet intimate space, an extensive wine list, delicious food great service. A share style modern Asian menu is on offer and I got to try many of these as part of a work function. Stand out dishes amongst the group were the soft shell crab bao, Vietnamese fried chicken wings, umami bites, red curry brisket, roast pork belly and duck. For dessert, we got to try the Astro bomb, panacotta chocolate (secret menu). All of them were a success. Needless to say, I've never had so many stand out dishes in one sitting...consider that Umami goodness signed, sealed and delivered !
