Up on Constance - Fortitude Valley

Would definitely recommend this place for an afternoon cocktail. Beautiful place to soak in the city, enjoy the atmosphere & delicious drinks.

As a 'nightlife' venue UP is sterile, like heading to your GP's office for a drink. Much better venues in Brisbane both from a venue and price point perspective.

Carl is amazing - best bartender here by a mile. He makes the best shots and has a great personality. Fantastic. 10/10 would shot again for sure.

Arrived here at 6.30pm Sat evening. Great view and decore, however it was rather annoying that was no where to sit and yet there were vast areas of empty seats waiting for later bookings. Seems to be a Brisbane thing, but bar owners (and restaurateurs who keep tables empty hours before customers are due) are seriously missing out on business by doing this. There should be times written on booked areas so others can enjoy a seat before hand. We left after one drink as, although it was not that busy and there were many empty seats, there was nowhere for us to sit. Ridiculous! I would be reluctant to invite a couple of friends after work for fear of having to stand around empty seats booked for 7pm!

We came in on a quiet Sunday afternoon and had the place to ourselves for a while. A little pricey but the food was magnificent. We loved it, will definitely be back.
