Birchwood Grill - Fossland

After coming here last year on vacation and my husband raving about it for the past 11 months, we had planned to eat here several times during our week stay. That quickly changed, we went on a Wednesday night around 630, place was maybe 35% occupied and the buffet and salad bar left a lot to be desired. My husband declined to return and even stopped by another place to grab something to eat on the way back to our hotel that night. The salad bar was a mess, items on the main buffet were out or looked like it had been sitting there for the duration of the evening, several plates at the buffet with food still on them, service was minimal at best (no refills were offered, $5.50 for a lemonade in a pint glass is pretty steep). I myself had tacos, they were honestly the worst tacos I’ve ever had. I ate the toppings, and we quietly left. Still tipped our server $20 bc he seemed like he was only one of two working that night. For $120 (no tip included) for three buffets, a kids buffet, tacos and three drinks is steep, but when the food is mediocre at best, we declined to return which is a shame, bc my husband has mentioned about driving four hours one way just to eat there.

This place has a buffet, with something for everyone. I drive out of the way just to go. We love it! Unfortunately, the buffet is not wheelchair accessible due to being down a few steps.

Food is terrible best thing I ate was chicken came home sick .... just will say had a long bathroom break as soon as Hubby and I got home ....went with a friend ....

Thought we wanted to go to the Brat Stop…not a great idea … looked around and saw Briarwood down the street. Sunday Brunch .. fantastic .. Sunday menu .. fantastic! Great choice !

Had the buffet, food was kept fresh and removed when it was too long. Good selection of hot foods and desserts.
