Maui Hawaiian Bbq - Fountain Valley

The food was decent, with most dishes priced around $20. You do get a generous portion, but I believe there are tastier Hawaiian restaurants out there. My main issue was with the rude staff; the woman at the counter appeared irritated and didn’t smile at all. When we requested a cup for hot sauce, she refused. The rest of the staff was unfriendly as well and didn’t smile once during our visit. I won’t be returning; it was a disappointing experience.

This is the best Hawaiian restaurant in Orange County. The food was not only delicious, but the staff was also friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to accommodate our party of 160 people, and the quality of the food was exceptional! This restaurant truly exceeded expectations. The combination of outstanding food and exceptional customer service made for a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience that prioritizes culinary excellence and excellent service. Vegetarian options include veggie noodles.

The restaurant was very clean, and the staff member was polite and cheerful. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely come back soon. Food rating: 5/5.

I ' 've been to this restaurant numerous times and have always left satisfied. This most recent time though was different. The food was better than I remembered! We had ordered the #5, a Half chicken katsu Half Bbq chicken plate, but modified with ease to bbq beef. The plate is an excellent choice if you plan on splitting it with someone due to the amount given. Lastly, the music they play here is so soothing and makes for a perfect mellow vibe. The restaurant was clean but part of our table was a tad sticky. Our service was fairly fast and were treated very well. Our total came out to 18.49 (included tax), definitely will continue to come back.

Thankyou to the chef of that laulau I was born and raised on Maui.(that's not the katsu sauce i was raised by, but it's alright i'm used to the Ketchup/Worcestershire/Brown Sugar style sauce) but that Laulau though ?
