Spoons Grill - Fountain Valley

I've been to Spoons a few times while staying at the Ayres Hotel, as it is convenient to have a quick dinner without having to leave the hotel. The food is good for the price, and the service is quick and courteous. The atmosphere is nothing special, they have TV broadcasting news and sports.Food: 4/5

The posted opening hours were inaccurate. I arrived at 3:10 PM only to be informed that there wouldn't be a server available until 3:30 PM and that there was only one cook present. It was quite disappointing. Now it's 4 PM, and the server still hasn’t arrived. Why even bother?

This was a nice, relaxed spot to spend some time. Earlier today, we decided to go out for a burger and check out a place we hadn't been to before. Spoons Grill and Bar served fantastic food. We ordered a couple of burgers, fries, and chicken strips. We didn't have any alcohol, but they do have a bar area for drinks. The atmosphere has a cozy pub vibe. Our waitress was excellent and very helpful. It’s a great place, and I hope to visit here more often!

When think of Spoons it was the Applebees of the 90's. Very good service. The tortilla soup is excellent. The staff was really good and the food and drinks were well above expectations. Food was hot and good portions. Took a chance and was surprised. The servers are hustling and making sure you have everything. Haven't had a negative experience here, definitely recommend.

It's great to have a relaxed meal here. Spoons is a lovely bar where you can bypass the line and head straight in if you prefer. The atmosphere is inviting, and the food is outstanding. The hotel itself is pleasant and has a wonderful vibe. The staff is friendly and always ready to help you with reservations!
