Station Framlingham

The Station Hotel is the only good food pub in Framlingham, none of the other pubs come close. The staff are friendly, the food is well priced and of good quality. The drinks selection is also very good with plenty of local ales, cider and a good wine list. The pub is on the small side and it has a good reputation so you need to make reservations to make sure you get a table. As well as being a great food pub it is also a good drinking pub. The pub usually has an older generation drinking there which is good if you want a change from the younger pubs such as The Castle Inn and The White Horse. There is also a fish and chip van that parks outside on Thursday evenings which sells reasonable fish and chips and makes sense after a few pints.

Great menu and great food. Lunch is a really relaxed affair. Can be a bit expensive but worth every penny never had a bad dish yet. Bistro type food with guest cheeses. Rustic layed back atmosphere. Earl Soham micro brewery ale on sale and a good wine selection Need to book for evenings
