Pizzeria Albatros Arrosticini

Visited the albatross whilst travelling with work. Had read lots of other reviews that had led me to believe this place was special. When I arrived it was quiet, and was served some average food. Restaurant quickly filled and at that point it was impossible to get any sort of service. Had to wait 45 mins for bill at end of the meal.

When you go to an Italian Pizza place, you have to learn that that pizza is their focus, stray from this and you will be disappointed. The pizza I had was great. The steak was ordinary and the sald was disappointing. Going back to the pizza,, large, good (but not exceptional- olives from can) and cheap. House red was young and good. We were looking for something simple but good in Francavilla and had found this place thanks to trip advisor. what can I say, I had a 500 gramm piece of wonderful meat, nicely prepared and served with a nice piece of lemon, some french fries and rosted scamorza. service was very friendly.

Per coloro che sono intolleranti al glutine sarebbe bene. L'unica cosa è la pizza è una focaccia preparata industrialmente. È la qualità non si avvicina nemmeno ad una pizza come re carlo a Villanova. Raccomando di prepararlo con particolari farine. Di solito lo mangio tutto, ma era sconveniente e pesante.
