Suite 77 - FRANCAVILLA FONTANA

Have eaten here 3 times in a month. Great spot, great hostess GianPietro and Tania, great service, and very friendly..... hard to find in Italy, nowadays. Have not tried any other dishes but I am sure they are equally as good. Hopefully we will be able to get a table on the 13, 14 or 15/09... should I make one ¨prenotazione¨

We were the first customers at 8.30pm, but the place started filling after that and there were still plenty of tables when we left at 9.45pm. The place is deceptively large with smaller, interesting sections. The service was good and although we tried to muddle through in Italian, our waitress probably spoke better English! We both ordered hamburgers with fried potatoes and salad. We literally had just the hamburgers, if you wanted the buns you have to order panini with hamburgers. However the meat was delicious and the fried potatoes were like fat crisps, also very tasty. They have good selection of beers which seemed to be changed regularly. Definitely coming back.

Lovely place, just in the hearth of the city. A cosy and welcoming restaurant with delicious food and a really good service. If you are in the area during the summer, you can enjoy the atmosphere of dining in the beautiful surrounding of Piazza Umberto I, making the most of the nice and warm Apulian weather. Don't worry if the weather is not the best, the inside of suite77 will make feel like home! Oh, one little tip: you must try straccetti di manzo with cacio cheese, they taste like heaven!
