Yaomi - Frankfurt am Main

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier. Direkt das mit der iPad Bestellung sehr lieb erklärt bekommen und dann ging alles ganz schnell und einfach. Wenn wasabi oder Ingwer leer waren kam gleich Nachschub und das Essen war unglaublich frisch und lecker. Wir haben fast alles getestet und in runde 6 ging gerade noch ein Bällchen Eis. Ich war bestimmt nicht das letzte mal da!

Went to this restaurant and although the food was ok, the experience was not. Orders were forgotten and not served at all. Also nicer menu items were 'out of stock'.

Ordered cickin katsu curry rice, katsu curry means norally pork katsu curry but they do not have it in there menu.curry is ok, but it served with bowl.And curry is not enough qty to call "curry rice" it was just source for katsu. i cannot say this is "chicken Katsu curry rice".I could say "Chicken Katsu don with curry source "

+ Cooles System+ Süß eingerichtet- Bedienung hat uns IPads falsch erklärt, dann kam eine zweite Bedienung und musste es nochmals erklären - Saucen wurden ganz am Ende zu Tisch gebracht, wir konnten sie dann nicht mehr gebrauchen- Portionen waren sehr sehr klein- Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht überein- Während sie uns 7 Minuten das Ipad erklärten, lief die Zeit für die Bestellungen schon (90 Minuten)- Viele Bestellungen wurden viel zu spät gebracht- Relativ kleine Karte

I really wanted to eat japanese but unfortunately could not walk to the old town so I went to Yaomi. Again: chinese waitress and cook. Rice was tasteless, edamame was not good (pre-cooked and microwaved ?). Gyoza was ok, but guess what, that's chinese dish.... Come on.... If you ever eaten proper japanese rice, you know what I mean. Rice should be shiny and tasty.Next time I will be more careful.My advise: avoid fancy japanese restaurant. Real japanese restaurant are usually low profile and staff speaks japanese. To test, simply say : Konichiwa or Konbanwa ? If the guy understands, stay if not, runaway !
