The Kinly - Frankfurt

The place was advertised as one of the great bars in the city of Frankfurt on Main. In reality quite amateur. The cocktail menu includes no classics, rather the specials from the bar. Those specials have unorthodox mixtures of taste they are salty, soury and fuzzy. We‘ve ordered four different ones for the variety. Cocktails are definitely unbalanced, meaning less alcohol, no kick. The service was okay, however I‘d expect the waiter to at least give some recommendations or warn that a custom made cocktail is salty. Doesn’t deserve the high praise and rating on google.

We had a great experience at The Kinley! Drinks were very good, and the service was excellent. It was a nice break after a long day of walking around the city while jetlagged. One thing to be aware of the neighborhood gets rough fast if you continue north of this location. This place is worth seeking out, though!

Hidden bar. Entering through the bell. Signature cocktails are really nice. They have their “lab” to make cocktails and distill different ingredients.

Superb quality! Hidden bar, entering via a ringbell at the entrance. The interior is very well designed, that creates a very cozy and relaxed environment for nice conversations. Drinks were all good. Service was exceptional. Very attentive staff!
