Bear Den Grille - Franklin

Nice bar restaurant at the end of a round. We were there on a Wednesday and it was empty. We order BBQ knowing that it was not going to be fresh as the grills were not going. That said the brisket and pulled port were still good. The sweet potato fries were good as well. Little crispy. We both should have order the bbq souce on the side. Too much on for our taste but we should have asked. Great bar with a large selection of whiskey and bourbon. Service was great too. I would go back. Like to see how it is when it’s fresh.

The atmosphere was very club house, but expected.Food was.good. The bartender was very friendly and attentive.

My wife and I attended a wedding reception at the Black Bear Golf Club this past weekend. The evening was very enjoyable and Black Bear provided everything needed. The wedding ceremony was held outdoors in a comfortable setting. This was followed by a cocktail hour in a bright and airy room overlooking the golf course. There was a good variety of food stations and waitstaff serving hand held offerings. The food was very good. We then entered the main room for dinner. The room overlooked the golf course and a patio area with seating and a fire pit. The dinner include a delicious pasta dish, salad, a choice of filet mignon, baked chicken, shrimp scampi and a vegetarian option. Dessert was assorted pastries, cookies

This place never fails to impress. They serve fresh food for fair rates, there is no waiting time even when the place is loaded.

Wonderful vibes and very attentive service. The meals were fresh and delightful. Will easily recommend this place to my friends. Reasonable prices and generous meals. Keep up the great work.
