Black Powder - Franklin

Franklin is fortunate to have this restaurant. The staff is wonderful, and the food is excellent!

I arrived just 10 minutes before closing, which may have upset the cook, as my food was overcooked. I waited 25 minutes for my order and requested ranch dressing twice but never received it. The waitress only checked on our drinks once, right after the food was served, and I didn't see her again until she brought the bill. I waited a long time to pay by card, so I decided to leave cash and started to walk out when the waitress finally came to collect the payment. This was my second visit in two months, and I won't be returning!

My family and I stopped for lunch at the Black Powder Bar and Grill today on our way back to Hampton, Nebraska, after camping at Harlan. We want to compliment you on the amazing food you serve. Your menu offers a fantastic variety of items to choose from. We each ordered something different: nachos, a French dip, popcorn chicken, and a hot beef sandwich, and we were all really pleased with our selections. The food was absolutely fantastic! Your restaurant is very clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and our food was ready in no time! We can't wait to return. Thank you!
