Root and Barrel Kitchen - Franklin

Visited Root + Barrel for the first time this evening with my best friendWe really liked the decor and rustic setting.

Arrived at lunch time on Monday Informed me that the kitchen was on a wait Seated after about 15 minutes.

Sat at the bar and Robert was taking care of us. He made amazing drinks for us. You MUST try one of his specials. The food was served quickly and was cooked perfectly. I will be back!

The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!

Our fourth time dining at Scarlet Steak and Seafood, very nice fine dining with a very good selection.
