The Twisted Sicilian Market Eatery

This restaurant is a hidden treasure! I only discovered it while making deliveries for DoorDash, but after hearing such great reviews, I decided to give it a try. The fried ravioli, mac and cheese, and house salad were absolutely delicious! And I can't forget to mention the tiramisu—it was incredible!

Great stop and something different. It was a little way of 65 but 100%worth it. We thought the GPS was off when we arrived but realized it was to the left of Dollar General. The entrance is deceiving, which makes this a hidden gem of Franklin. It was a small space with a gourmet menu. We recommend the Pig and Fig panini and grilled cheese. We split a macaroni. I was tempted to try off the Fritti menu. The restaurant was clean and quiet. The perfect place to take a break from the road.

I enjoyed the Fritti, fried ravioli served with a dipping sauce, and it was absolutely marvelous. I also tried the Penne alla Vodka, which was very good. My husband had the chicken noodle soup and an Italian sub, both of which he really liked. The server mentioned that everything is homemade, which is a nice touch. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.

What a delicious dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I tasted the Eggplant Parmigiana that was perfectly fried with a nice crispy crust that led to a soft, meaty and smoky eggplant. It was paired with fresh creamy mozzarella, and then covered in a creamy vodka sauce. All served in a soft sub roll. Also, I enjoyed a half order of Arancini. It had a nice fried crispy outer texture, and then broke it open to find moist arborio rice flavored with parsley, and a chunk of warm mozzarella cheese. The fried cheese ravioli also tasted delicious because it was perfectly fried and accompanied by the divine vodka sauce. The Penne in vodka, and penne in red sauce were both delicious and flavorful. The Macaroni and Cheese was delicious. Then the Tomato and Cucumber Salad was fresh, light and flavorful and topped off with feta was divine. Then we finished our meal with sweet and creamy Cannoli. They were lightly coated in pistachios and dark chocolate which did not overpower the Cannoli filling, and finished our meal on a very high note.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu contains lots of simple italian foods that parents, like myself, would love to order for them.Parking: There is lots of parking spaces in the strip mall.

Delicious food with authentic flavors. I highly recommend the meatball sub and penne alla vodka!
