Reuben's Restaurant Bar - Franschhoek

This restaurant offers delicious food. They had gluten-free bread available when we requested it, and a lot of their dishes were naturally gluten-free.

What a great discovery! I made a reservation for dinner and informed them about my gluten intolerance. The restaurant was crowded, but they still paid attention to detail. They didn't have a separate menu, but the waiter was knowledgeable and able to suggest which options could be modified. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of choices available, beyond just the typical meat and salad options. I ordered the salt and pepper squid, which was made with gluten-free flour and pan-fried instead of deep-fried as requested. My husband also enjoyed his meal. The Kudo fillet was absolutely delicious. It was such a nice treat to feel normal while dining out during our travels.
