Boutique21 Cousine& Barlab - FRASCATI

We had been to Rome for the day. Returned on the train to Frascati where we are staying at the wonderful Villa Mercedes, and took dinner in the town for a change rather than returning to the hotel. Having explored for a while we dropped on Boutique 21. The restaurant is very bright and welcoming. The bar staff had very little English but called on the female chef who was quite fluent. She explained that they served only fish no meat which suits me fine. The menu is quite varied, she offered us lobster at 25 Euros! Saving that for another day and had a fish ravioli and a 'fruit de mer ' dish, both of which were beautifully prepared and quite delicious! The level of service was exemplary and the lovely Chef with a wonderful hat prepared our food with delicacy and great attention to the taste!

Very accommodative manager! I'm vegan he was able to create something special for me. Clean,cosy classy atmosphere. Food was good in very suitable amounts. Price was reasonable affordable.

Restaurant known thanks to a really interesting fish coupon campaign. The restaurant is new, well-kept and tastefully furnished in Lounge Bar style, and has both an internal room and outdoor seating. The background music is good, the air conditioning is a little less so due to the outside service and the constant opening of the external door by the service staff. As I said we used a coupon for a full dinner. In order we consumed: seafood panzanella; mussel tasting (classic, with pesto and curry); a Boutique21 linguine with anchovies, raisins, fennel, seared cherry tomatoes and sautéed breadcrumbs and a fish couscous; a sea bass flavored with Mediterranean herbs and a tempura garfish on a pepper cream and sour yogurt with fennel and orange salad. All very good.... Susceptible to improvement but good. We gave up on the rest of the dinner as we were full but above all tired and the wait throughout the dinner took a bit of a toll on us. I believe that it is a place with excellent, partly unexpressed potential that needs to better finalize the commitment that everyone puts into it. Maybe I'll go back in the future.

I went to dinner on Friday evening with my husband with a coupon purchased almost for fun because we usually don't use this system, we prefer free dinner. However, I must say that it was a very pleasant surprise, because we found excellent food accompanied by a good wine. The dishes were imaginative, digestible and all of high quality and, furthermore, the icing on the cake, excellent hospitality and courtesy. Nice atmosphere, we will definitely return, without coupons because we want to try other dishes. We definitely recommend it!!!!

Very nice place with internal room in the basement. They make a giant McDonald's type sandwich and excellent fruit purees
