Craignish Cafe - Fraser Coast

I tried calling the restaurant six times and still didn't receive a response. Unfortunately, this lack of communication is common and often results in incorrect orders, such as receiving beef and chicken instead of the requested fish burgers. This could be dangerous for someone with Anaphylaxis. The restaurant also failed to provide a full battered sav as requested, only offering a half-cut sausage. However, when the food is prepared correctly, it is typically quite good. The overall experience depends on the order and the hospitality of the staff, which is usually slightly above average, but can vary at times.

This is the worst cod fish I have ever had!! I got sick and threw up after only two hours of eating nothing but their chips and cod. When I was eating my cod, I realized it had two layers of batter on it. It seems like they fried the fish again after already battering it. The inside of the fish was black as well. I saw another review mentioning this issue. I would not recommend going there, as there are much better fish options in the Bay that are worth your money.

Just a good honest food joint...nice fish and chips, good burgers. highly recommended. Plenty of choice and not too long waiting time.

The fish and chips were okay, although slightly greasy. It seemed like they could have been drained better. The main issue was the slow service - waiting 32 minutes for some fish seemed a bit too long.

Lovely chicken salad wraps. Talked to the lady that owned the business, she was lovely. Will be going back
