Big John's Mountain Grill

I'm giving 5 Stars because I love going to Big John's Grill. I haven't been in Frazier Park for four years and only ever visit from Australia and stay on the mountain for a few months at a time when I am here. But when I'm in town, Big John's Grill is one of the places I'll eat at if I'm going out for a meal while in the area. It has quite a large variety of choices on the Breakfast Lunch menu. It's always consistent in what it serves and the prices are reasonable. And I must say, it was lovely to see Zoya again. She always seems to get bad service reveiws because she doesn't seem to play the part of the welcoming waitress according to folk's expectations but I enjoy seeing her and am grateful she was there today when we popped in for brunch.

Absolutely loved it here. Next time we travel to Southern California and back we plan on stopping here.

Upon entering, I definitely didn’t feel welcomed. There was no smile or small talk—just a plain “good morning” with no warmth. The food was decent, but I could have done without the coffee, which was quite disappointing.

The staff was overwhelmingly rude. The food had so much salt I could not get past the first bite. So I purchased a small side to tide me over till I got home and sent my dish back minus one bite, of course I was charged full price for all of it. I wouldn’t feed a pig the slop they serve, and their attitude seals the deal. Highly recommend avoiding.

The food was excellent, and the service was fantastic! I will definitely be coming back.
