Had lunch with friends at the Ship, opted for a chicken stuffing sandwich which came with salad a jug of gravy. Very nice. It was very quiet, not much atmosphere but the staff were lovely. We have visited here many times, The food and service have been fantastic. We went yesterday for a Sunday roast and I lost say it was lovely and this will be our new Sunday lunch spot. Beef Wellington was very poor, it was bland and appeared to be slow cooked shredded beef stuffed into a pastry. Completely of the mark.
