Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Frederick

I ordered online in wrong branch , after I called them they said we can not change it and have to send an email to refund my money. unfortunately I sent out 5 times email to different email address that they gave me , but nobody answer me and time when I called them 5times again and as same nobody gave me answer just pass to another one!!. its $21 but they costumer service is worst. My daughter has a dairy allergy, so we specifically ordered non-dairy items. I confirmed this with an employee two times, and she assured me it was non-dairy when she handed it to me. Unfortunately, that turned out to be incorrect. After just a couple of sips of the drink, my daughter's throat began to swell and she became ill. I tried calling the restaurant but received no answer, and my email went unanswered as well. So now I'm sharing this experience to make others aware. It's crucial for employees to be diligent and ensure they don't put customers with allergies at risk.

Super creamy ice cream. Flavors really pop. The waffle cone tasted fresh made. Walk up or drive through service. Maybe a little pricey, but I think it was worth it

I would advise against visiting this place. I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed the ice cream, but my recent experience with their milkshakes was disappointing. The milkshake tasted like it was made with slightly spoiled milk, which was concerning. I didn’t want to judge them based on just one visit, so I returned to try another flavor, and unfortunately, it had the same off-putting taste. I’m not sure what the issue is — perhaps their refrigerator isn't functioning properly — but after both milkshakes, I ended up with a terrible stomach ache. It’s quite disappointing and unprofessional to serve customers spoiled products. Additionally, the prices are steep; it felt like I paid for food poisoning.

The location, the parking, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Kids swinging on the drive in metal guard...someone will fall someday and get ran over. Recently advertised free ice cream if you show up in PJs. This is ok if you are under 10. Crocks, PJs, and the Maryland flag! Have some class Frederick!
