I went to this restaurant for lunch last Friday. They have recently installed new fans and lights, making it easier to read the menu. I ordered the Gladstone lunch, which included two chicken fajita tacos on flour tortillas with pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole, with rice on the side. The meal was delicious and I particularly enjoyed the rice. Normally, I only order cheese enchiladas, but I decided to try something different this time. I also asked about the chile rellenos, as I had heard they were sometimes served frozen. I also ordered guacamole and was informed of a price change, but I didn't mind as long as it was fresh and tasty. The Gladstone meal, guacamole, and iced tea came to $13. I was so impressed with the quality of the food that I left a $5 tip and commented on the improvements. I will definitely be returning more frequently if they continue to maintain this level of excellence.
I recently visited the restaurant to try their new menu. I ordered guacamole, shrimp cocktail, and cheese enchiladas. The guacamole dip was decent, while the shrimp cocktail was on the sweet side. The chips seemed to be fried in old oil. The cheese enchiladas were also just okay. I arrived at 2pm and it took 20 minutes before I could even order tea and guacamole. The shrimp cocktail took 40 minutes to come out, and finally, my enchiladas arrived at 2:45. The restaurant closes at three, so I had to rush through my meal. The table before me had to wait 20 minutes for their check, so I quickly asked for a to-go box and a cup. I left at 3:15 and my total came to $24.36. It had been a while since my last visit and I noticed that the food wasn't worth the price. On May 25th, I had cheese enchiladas, chicken tacos, tostadas, guacamole, and pico for $26.83 and regretted ordering the chicken tacos as they were awful. On May 13th, I ordered carne asada tacos, cheese enchiladas, and guacamole for takeout. I received three tacos, guacamole, salsa roja, salsa verde, queso, and chips for $15.00, but was disappointed to find no enchiladas included. The portion sizes were small and the prices were unreasonable. Overall, the only dish I truly enjoyed was the cheese enchiladas.
I enjoyed the Mexican food at this restaurant! The chicken fajita nachos were my favorite. They always bring out chips, salsa, and queso before the meal. On Tuesday nights, they offer free Sopapillas. I love it!
I really miss the cheese enchiladas at lunchtime. Unfortunately, they have closed down and are no longer in operation.
