Feedback gevenI recently visited the Olive Garden in Frederick, Maryland on Spectrum Drive. I was greeted by a very kind young woman (MK) who provided excellent customer service. I would give her 5 stars for her great attitude. However, I have consistently had issues with the food at this location. Today, on 6/29/18 at 12:30 PM, I ordered two simple soups (Pasta Fazoul) and once again, my order was messed up. They only gave me soup broth with no pasta, as they had skimmed off the top of the pot. In previous visits, I have encountered various mistakes with my orders such as receiving the wrong soup, missing items like breadsticks, or even receiving soup when I ordered salad. It seems like the staff at the Frederick Olive Garden are struggling to run their business efficiently. Let me just start with it: I would give stephanie 10 stars if I could. ? she was absolutely extraordinary and we had luck getting her as our server. we are truly remarkable that they have noticed us and have gone out of their way to make our experience as wonderful as it was for my early Mother's Day dinner with my young. what we ordered was delicious and I would give 5 stars. (I personally recommend the mushroom sauce! so good!) so why 2 stars? this was the next one we ever went out of a restaurant before we noticed the order that the waitress for our section avoids our table even after we have pressed the button that demanded our server. stephanie, you have totally saved the day and have really made our rare experience to go out to eat a positive. I just wish we were not regrettable enough to block between the tables whose waitress decided that we were not worth their time.
Been here 3 times in the last few months. Food is decent. Service is god awful. Tonight was told 15 minute wait ended up being 30. Currently sitting at a table for 12 minutes without even being greeted. Ready to walk out. I wouldn’t recommend dining here but if you must, call in for take out.
Boy, has this place changed for the worse! Our family frequents this restaurant, and used to enjoy the atmosphere and good food. Dined with a group of 6. The waitress did a decent job, and it didn't take long for the meals. Most of the meals were fair to good, but other things were unacceptable. The sirloin steak was tough, overcooked and small. The large portion of fries seemed to be trying to compensate for the steak's inadequacy. This family member left hungry. No coffee waitress said the coffee machine has been down for months. What?? The bread and salad plates were dirty, and we sent them back. And the bread sticks were hard. Moreover, they sat all the guests in one area. If they are so concerned about the Omicron variant, as the hostess expressed her opinion as we were seated, why cram everyone into one room? And why cram a family of 6 into a booth? Won't be going back for a long time...
Ordered takeout tonight at 4:50 so my husband could pick it up on his way home. It was supposed to be ready at 5:15. Two different people asked for his name but neither came back. When the food was finally brought out at 5:35 it was clear it had been sitting around and wasn’t very hot anymore. He got home and unpacked it and found there were NO breadsticks in the bag either. The shrimp Alfredo was good though.
