Ragin' Reef - Frederick

We didn’t know this restaurant until we walked by. The place was packed at lunch time the food smelled great so we decided to go for dinner that evening. We made it in time since there was one table left! The place was full, lively and the service was excellent. We started with fish tacos and had the crab ‘no’ cakes amazing! Husband had the jambalaya, which he loved. Nice beer selection both bottle draft. Very warm, friendly place. I think we’ll end up being regulars. Highly recommend!

Great meal, great service. You cannot go wrong here. The food delicious, especially liked the reef baskets. Mix and match, grilled and fried. Sooooo very good. Mussels were fantastic! This place is a find for those in the Frederick Area. Everyone from the host at the door, to the bartenders, to our waitress (Kate! and Steve D. the owner. They make you feel very welcome. My new favorite place in Frederick

My daughter, so -in-law and I lunched at Ragin’ Reef after Church on Sunday. We had wonderful food: crab cakes (no filler), lobster roll, and my son-in-law had THE most delicious banana French toast. We all had a bite and decided it was outstanding. More importantly, our server was the nicest, most friendly and enthusiastic guy I ever meant. I would return just to visit with him, even if the food wasn’t so awesome. Thankfully, it was.

Best seafood I’ve had in years! The wicked muscles are a must, the crab cakes and stuffed cod are amazing. I loved the red beans and rice, coleslaw and tartar sauce even. Friendly staff and great service, we can not wait to go back!!!

THE best crab cake in Frederick and beyond. Excellent service from friendly staff. Great vibe. My girlfriend and I were extremely happy with everything. I highly recommend.
