Fujiya House Japanese Steak Sushi

I can't say enough about how much we love it here. my wife didn't eat sushi from anywhere else. I hope the cook never leaves or I will never eat sushi again. it's just the only cook she likes, sometimes the waiting staff might be a little nicer, but unlike eating it is great. hibachi chefs are always friendly and upbeat.

Wow, this food is soooo fresh, seriously I ordered ahituna, rare and literally tasted the ocean with every bite, the steak was tender, the lobster perfectly cooked (not tough) and the chef was amazingly talented, by far the best tappanyaki I've had, check out my photos for more on this place, or just go, you won't be dissatisfied!

Make sure you make reservations for larger parties. They do not have online reservations you have to call. Server was great, very helpful, knowledgeable and personal. She made the experience wonderful and unique. She had so many suggestions, never had to prompt her. Only feedback was that dishes needed to be cleared away sooner. They sat for a while. She took our drink orders quickly, split up our bill correctly, and our food was brought out in a somewhat in a timely manner. The sushi bar took a little bit longer to get our food, which did not allow us to eat all together. My feedback to the food is that it should all come out at the same time. As far as social distancing was concerned, my feedback is that table should not be sat right by the hostess stand. There’s a lot of traffic right in that area due to go ordering, guests checking in, or people having questions. I would advise to seat them further away from the host stand and close that area.

This is a combined sushi and tempenake place like many others but with great service and really creative sushi and rolls. This has 4 stars from me simply because it is not fine dining. The exterior glass is covered in food art photos and its location between Best Buy and Pet Smart make it difficult to know simply from walking by if this is a good choice...but it is. We went in late at night (around 9pm) and had the run of the sushi bar. The Fredericksburg roll is a great blend of spicy and salty. The cucumber roll, where thin slices of cucumber substitute for rice in a traditional roll is refreshing. The roe sushi topped with a raw quail egg yolk is certainly an upscale touch. Overall, good dining with some unexpected surprises.
