Harry's Alehouse - Fredericksburg

My husband and I stopped by this cute little restaurant for a quick dinner, and we loved the dog-themed décor, complete with playful puppy pictures everywhere. Unfortunately, the food was rather basic. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't amazing either. I had the meatloaf with green beans and a side salad, while my husband tried to order a burger wrapped in lettuce with a side salad. They couldn't accommodate that but suggested a burger salad instead, which he was fine with. However, when it arrived, he felt it was unseasoned, and the only thing that made it palatable was the spicy ranch sauce they provided.

I stopped by for a quick meal and found it to be a great alternative to fast food. The Penne Alfredo with grilled chicken was delightful. Although the traditional buffalo wings were a bit bland, they were meaty. They also have a full bar with a nice selection of seasonal beers. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the Fredericksburg area.

We ordered the onion rings (the best I've had in a long time), fried pickles, the whiskey burger, the royale burger, and fries. The burgers were outstanding and cooked perfectly medium-rare (no pun intended!). Everything was fresh and juicy. To top off our experience, there were two highlights aside from the food and service: the walls were adorned with pictures of dogs (a huge plus for us as dog lovers), and they had a bar with a great selection of scotches. I even joked when I asked for a cube of ice; they clearly knew it was a bit of a faux pas, which was amusing. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back soon! Thank you!

We visited this restaurant for the first time over the weekend and were pleasantly surprised to discover it had been around for so long without us knowing. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, while I had the fried chicken and waffles. My wife found her dish a bit salty for her taste, but she still enjoyed it, and everything was cooked to perfection. I must say, my dish was the second best fried chicken and waffles I've ever had. I can't wait to return and try more items on their menu, especially the burgers! The staff was friendly, and one gentleman made sure everything was served correctly without being intrusive while we were eating, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this restaurant. Overall, it's not overly expensive, especially since we had someone babysitting.

Fantastic dining experience, with an amazing atmosphere and excellent service! We tried the crab peel and the pita chips, which were absolutely delightful! The whisky burger was cooked to perfection, and the meat lover flatbread exceeded our expectations. Overall, it was a wonderful culinary experience!
