Sozial Haus - Fredericksburg

I visited the restaurant on Thursday at 11:30 for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I dove right in and enjoyed a meal that had me doing a happy dance in my chair. The chicken artichoke melt was absolutely divine—each bite was a burst of flavor! Since I had never tried pickle soup before, I decided to order a cup. It was quite a generous serving! The soup consisted of cream with potatoes, carrots, and dill pickles. While the flavor was decent, it was served lukewarm and I thought it could have been a bit thicker. I probably wouldn't order it again, but at least now I can say I've tried pickle soup! The salad selection here looked excellent, and I definitely plan to try one on my next visit. The service was quick and, more importantly, very friendly. Our server, Brian, was fantastic.

We stopped at this restaurant after a half-day hike at Enchanted Rock, and it turned out to be a great choice for everyone in our party. We tried several dishes: the Brat-Rind sandwich, which my husband declared was the best he’s ever had; a Gyro that my son loved (his only suggestion was to serve the pickles on the side to keep the bread from getting soggy); a Caesar salad that my daughter thoroughly enjoyed; and a fantastic black bean and chicken soup that really hit the spot! The service was fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. If you're in the area and looking for a place to eat, we highly recommend stopping by!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and had no trouble getting a table. The salads were fantastic! I really appreciated the generous portions and the freshness of the ingredients. I would definitely come back again.

Do not have to break the bank to feed here. Stop for a quick bite and enjoyed some great pizza. Many adults are available. Can dine inside or outside.

Tried this place on a whim and we’re glad we did. The patio ambience is chill and the pizza was delicious. We got the pulled pork pizza. They have a lot of great local wine to choose from and it looks like Tuesday’s the have a great 50% off special!
