Mudan - Frederiksberg

We came by as we had previously read a review of the place in Berlingske. The reviewer was thrilled. We weren't. Nothing about the food made you eat Chinese food here.

Insanely delicious Chinese food. And cheap! The food was authentic and simple, while the restaurant's surroundings gave more associations to an industrial district than to China. However, that only made the experience of having found a hidden gem greater.

Food is okay. but with very limited service. Staffs dont know how to communicate. When they are busy, normally staffs will be a bit rude like reject to accept order or reject provide service with a bad face. I dont think they mean to be rude, could because they did not get any trainning on how to provide service.

Highly recommend the peking duck and eggplant dishes, very authentic and delicious.

Delicious Szechuan-style food. Staff is very accomodating of large groups.
